RESERVATIONS AND

POLICIES

You may make reservations here.

Must have person 18 years or older to make reservation and remain during length of reservation.

Maximum Capacity at each individually assigned campsite is eight (8) people. This typically involves a single camping unit, which includes, but not limited to, a tent, motor home, camping, bus, truck mounted camper shell, pull-type camper, or other device designed and commonly used for sleeping. Which must be parked 5 feet from the power pedestal and 10 feet from your neighbor. One tent per site with additional $10 fee for additional tents up to two(2)tents with Maximum of three(3) tents per site.

All campsites require the full stay to be paid when the reservation is made.

The guest making the reservations must be present at check in where they will be given access code to the shower house. Reservations cannot be resold under any circumstances. Refunds will be given after camper has checked in.

There is a two-night minimum stay for reservations and there is a three-night minimum for Memorial Day weekend, Labor Day weekend, and The Fourth of July.

You must check in at the Store prior to occupying a campsite. We do our best to not move anyone after reservation is made however, we can NOT guarantee specific site numbers.

Check In: 3:00pm Check Out: 2:00pm

Early check in:

  • Campers can check in as early as 10:00 am for a $5.00 fee if the campsite is available (please call ahead to confirm).
  • Earlier than 10:00 am or coming in early without checking in at the office will be charged an additional night camping fee.
  • Early check in cannot be guaranteed prior to the day of.

Late check out:

  • Check out is at 2:00pm. If you would like to stay later, please check in at the office the morning of your departure date. Campers can stay until 5:00pm for a $5.00 fee.
  • Later than 5:00pm or staying past 2:00pm without checking in at office will be charged and additional one night camping fee.
  • Late check out cannot be guaranteed prior to the day of.

Late Arrival:

  • If you will be arriving after store hours you will need to make arrangements before the store closes. Please call the store at 701-842-4199.

Cancellation Fees:

  • Reservations cancelled with greater than 10 days notice receive an 80% refund
  • Reservations cancelled with 4-10 days notice receive a 50% refund.
  • Reservations cancelled within 3 days will not receive a refund.

NO SHOW:

You must occupy your site by 1 pm on the date following check-in date or your site will be given to the next person on the wait list and you will not receive a refund for your reservation.

TOBACCO GARDENS GUEST POLICIES

Speed limit in the park is 5 mph

Quiet time is 11:00pm to 7:00am No idling engines, loud gatherings, barking dogs, running generators or amplified music …Especially IN YOUR CAR/TRUCK during these hours Respect your neighbors.

ATV’S and Golf Carts

  • ATV’S and golf carts must be legally licensed and are only allowed as a means of transportation to the store or in and out of the camp ground. All drivers must have a valid drivers license and stay on clearly marked roads. ND State highway rules apply. NO Dirt Bikes allowed. No motorized Vehicles on bridge (battery or gas operated).

Campfires

  • No unattended fires.
  • All firewood must fit entirely in the ring and burned in a safe manner.
  • Fire must be fully extinguished each night and before departure: $50.00 fine.
  • There is no removal of trees or branches for campfires. If you are in need of firewood, you may purchase it at the store.
  • No burning of pallets.
  • Do not burn trash.
  • Do not move fire rings: $50.00 fine.
  • Do not leave trash in firepit Dumpsters are located south of RV dump: $15.00 fine
  • McKenzie County Board of Commissioner’s fire index guidelines will be followed.

RV Dump:

  • Fresh water and RV dump is available.
  • NO dumping of grey or black water on the ground.

Smoking:

SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN BATHROOMS, AT FISH CLEANING STATIONS, OR NEAR ANY ENTRANCES TO THE RESTAURANT. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE CIGARETTE BUTTS ON GRASS, DISPOSE OF PROPERLY.

NO Firearms, BB Guns, Potato Guns, Paintball

Guns, Slingshots, and Arrows

  • No person, with the exception of a duly authorized peace officer may possess a loaded firearm or dangerous weapon in the park. Any fire arms must be unloaded and properly stored at all times.

Fireworks

  • Fireworks are strictly prohibited anywhere in the park. This includes all types of fireworks. If caught using fireworks you will be asked to evacuate the park immediately. If it goes BOOM! You will be escorted out of the campground.

Pets

  • $20 Pet fee for length of stay.
  • Pets must be leashed and under physical control at all times.
  • Do not tie your pet to trees or electrical posts- You may use a ground stake.
  • Noisy vicious or dangerous pets are not allowed. Pets are not to be left unattended in camper or at the campsite.
  • Keep your site and the campground clean of droppings. We have poo bags for purchase in the store.
  • Pet owners are responsible for any and all harm done to sites, property, or injury to others.
  • Additional $20 clean up fee for sites with poo left behind.

General campground information.

  • This is a family campground, no lewd, obscene or drunken behavior is permitted. Be respectful and considerate of other campers.
  • Gasoline may not be stored at campsites
  • Propane tanks larger than 30 1bs are prohibited.
  • If you will be camping in the campground for longer than 7 days, you must take on the responsibility of maintaining the area in and around your site. Please ask for a copy of Long-Term Guidelines.
  • External Storage of appliances, propane tanks and utility trailers are not allowed.

Children must be supervised at all times

Camping and lodging fees must be paid upon booking and are non-refundable after check in.
